RA The Rugged Man - Uncommon Valor [Jedi Mind Tricks]
Brand New Video 2010 off of Legendary Classics Volume 1. Also released on Servants in Heaven Kings in Hell by Jedi Mind Tricks [2006]; R.A. The Rugged Man's verse documents the real life experience of his father John A. Thorburn during the Vietnam War.
This is some ill shit. RA is a beast.
Primo Tribu... errm "Salute" to GURU
Some real talk on this one. Premier went hard on this on, you can hear he chose particular tracks [even verses] to articulate his feelings towards Solar - "the super producer, that's never made a good beat" - in the words of Statik Selektah.
Again, RIP Guru...

Celph Titled ft. Apathy & Chino XL - Styles Ain't Raw
I remember Ap sending me an unfinished version of this with just his and Celph’s verses months ago. I had no clue Chino was gonna be on the final version though! Off Celph and Buckwild’s upcoming collaborative Nineteen Ninety Now LP. Which will feature Celph ripping over vintage unreleased Buckwild beats from the mid 90’s. Guest spots will include Treach (of Naughty By Nature), Vinnie Paz (of Jedi Mind Tricks), Ryu (of SOBs), A.G., Diamond D, Sadat X, Grand Puba, R.A. the Rugged Man, O.C., Lord Digga, Majik Most and more.

The M-Trey
Daaaaaaamn.
Turns out he'd copped the M3 for his ma-duke's birthday [now if that's not pure class, I don't know what is]. I just hope one day I will have that kind of doh.
The whip is off the scale. Optioned out: gray leather interior, iDrive system, carbon fiber roof... the list goes on. Shit is rapid too - like 0 to 100km in 4.2seconds.Delimited this ting will hit nearly 300km! Nuts.
Not only that but this particular model was built for the Managing Director of BMW M3. Yup. So it's full of extra details that no other M3 has. One of which is the fact that EVERYTHING on the car is painted metallic blue and polished. Even the chassis under the car and in the engine.
Madness.
Shouts to my homie... He hustles mad hard for this and deserves it.

Skriblah DanGogh - Sketches
Okay, this is the last UK Hip Hop post for a while. Promise. There's just been so much niceness dropping recently - I had to share.
Here is Skriblah's FreeP... one third of the once mighty Terra Firma clique [along with Klashnekoff and Kyza Smirnoff - before they fell out]. This has definitely still got that gritty "golden era" sound to it... So I'm digging it.
Listen and if it floats your boat download it. It's free remember.
Mystro - Aquarius
The Mighty Mys' dropping some deep lyrics, again silencing anyone who claimed he was strictly punchlines.
Supa T on the beats too. All in all it's a dope affair.
B-Mus - Murder Scene
Whoa, never heard of this cat before but he goes 'ard on this one. Sick storytelling rhymes over some gutter beats. Ill.
UK is killing it right now. [Now read that again with Tim Westwood's voice] **Cringe**
Mr Boss - The Landing LP
‘The Landing’ is a free download LP from 18 year old London based producer Mr Boss. The album features many well known UK artists such as Dr Syntax, Sonny Jim and Skrein, as well as many others up and coming…
I can't front - I've been slippin' slightly recently when it comes to keeping up to date with the latest UK Hip-Hop tings. So when I stumbled across this yout's FreeP I was very pleasantly surprised. The kid's 18 and his beats are fire! Not only that but he's co-signed by some of the biggest names on the UK scene. Wow.
Check it out. Download it. It's free.
Wasteman part 8.5
Just spotted these bad boys... oh yes. Kind of leading on from yesterdays "Wasteman" post. Honestly I'm torn between which is the most ridiculous.
"You can even change them while you're driving"
Glad to hear that... Let's hope they make an iPhone app [or iPad would be even better] for it - that way you can use your phone and design flashy rim logos, then twitter it to your homies... without even slowing down! Take that 'playa haters'!
Beautiful.

Wasteman part 8
Who told this guy 55 inch rims was cool?! What a fucking rampton... If he thought he was going to pull chick in this thing - he was wrong. For starters, how does he expect a girl to get in and out of this thing?
This is retarded on so many levels... I mean he can't even go to Micky D's drive-thru!
If he [only a man's ego would believe "bigger is better" to the point of absurdity] wanted to turn heads - he certainly achieved it. However, the fact onlookers are probably pointing and laughing might not be what he was aiming for. Seems like some serious "compensation" going on to make up for something.
Maybe I'm just completely out of touch and this is what kids (or yanks) think is cool nowadays... fuck it.
Gourmet - Quattro "Skate"
Don't know if I'd skate with 'em though...

Wasteman part 7
Okay, so the kid from the sitcom Married With Children waxes lyrical. Lets face it - it's hard to take him seriously after seeing him grow up on such a wack-ass show. I mean are we really supposed to believe he's bad ass cos he's got some [admittedly quite hard looking] vatos in his video and he's sporting the indispensable Raiders Starter cap? I can't.
Sad thing is this is still better than the shite that is being churned out by current "Hip-Hop artists"...
[ps the chick that played his sister in the show would have got speed boned... hell the ma dukes probably would too - guilty secrets]
MF Borat
I'm not sure how legit the back story to this track is: Sasha Cohen (aka Ali G aka Borat aka Bruno) met MF Doom and blazed some L's. [I don't really buy it but hey, you never know).
Whatever the case may be it's a pretty sick track.
[Shouts to DJ Senz on this one]
Greetings From Brussels
A sick video of Brussels skaters murking it. This really takes me back to my early teens, seeing some of the spots we used to hit.
Seems like the level of skating has gone through the roof since I was there back in the day - considering it rains nearly every day these guys are sick as fuck!

Hocus Pocus featuring Alice Russell – Beautiful Losers
Hocus Pocus "Beautiful losers" feat. Alice Russell
envoyé par hocuspocus. - Clip, interview et concert.
"Today marks the premiere of French Hip Hop/Soul collective Hocus Pocus the video for their track “Beautiful Losers” off their current offering 16 Pieces recently released on Motown France/Universal, the song features British songstress Alice Russell. Multimedia visionary Wu Yue Nyno created an inspiring animated visual for this admirable Jazz-infused track."
Nice Visuals... First time I saw 20syl (the rapper/producer) he was doing some fresh ass beatbox layering. Then I peeped his production vids on youtube. Man makes some hefty tunes, son. Check him out.

A Wu Tang Kung Fu Shoe... Now that's some real Shaolin kicks.

Designed by Oliver “Power” Grant and RZA, the low top sneaker comes in the classic Wu Tang black/yellow colorway with the upper being inspired by Ying-Yang. Only 360 pairs of the shoe were produced and they will be released April 14th in Paris at RZO Store and Pigalle."
