Clarks Originals 2012 Fall Outdoor Wallabee

Clarks will be releasing a more winter friendly (and more gully) version of the Wallabee we all know and love.

Not bad.

What does ODB think about it?

Errrrm, okay then...

Nike Air Max 97 VT

Now I've never been a big fan of the AM97s. Mainly because they they were silver (or some other awful colour-way) and the amount of air bubble is slightly excessive. The novelty of "more air bubble is better" was still riding high in 1997 but lets face it, once you pass the age of 15 it all seems a bit ostentatious.

Having said that the new VT reworking of the old 97's in "Midnight Fog" (I think that means dark grey) came out pretty nice in my opinion... I probably wouldn't don them myself but I still consider them a success and an improvement on the originals (it's not often you get so say that!)

Nike Cortez Classic OG

Nike continue to drop old school "OG" trainers. Early 2012 will see the arrival of a premium leather Cortez.

I know my man, Sleezy B. will be diggin' these.

Available to pre-order at Hanon now.

Reebok 2012

I'm feeling these Reeboks from the Summer/Spring 2012 collection.

Nike - Blazer New Releases

Here are a couple of new releases of the classic Nike Blazer. Famous for being Nike's first ever basketball shoe it has rightly achieved some status among sneaker-heads.

Above is a modern take on the shoe, utilizing Vac Tech (or VT for short), giving it a seamless look which I think works quite well.

Below is latest "vintage" release that is exclusive to Size? and limited to 500 pairs in each colour. These are built from premium tumbled leather, unfortunately the out-sole has also been given the yellowy "antiqued" treatment, which I'm really not a fan of... however, sources suggest that some careful use of white-spirit can remove it, for a box-fresh look.

More info can be found about the Nike Blazer VT HERE and the Nike Blazer Vintage HERE.
