La Planete Sauvage

I watched this a couple of years ago and then promptly forgot what it was called before I could tell people about it.

La Planete Sauvage or Fantastic Planet (as it was dubbed for the anglophone market) was produced between France and Czechoslovakia in the early 70's.

I'm guessing there was no shortage of mind altering drugs going down because this pretty far out and at times kind of creepy.
