Flashback Fridays: Rob Welsh - Mad Circle 5ive Flavors
I remember buying this on VHS back in '98. I used to watch it all the time and it would always get me hype to skate.
Rob Welsh smashed it skating in Air Force 1's and Shell-Toes.
It was probably the first time I heard Pharcyde too, to be honest.
Ah those were the days...

Flashback Friday: Mobb Deep ft. Method Man - Extortion
I used to rock this one hard in my Walkman back in the day. Pretty sure it was on a cassette mixtape made by my homie Senz.
Ah the '90s...

Flashback Friday
This video footage is from shades of hip hop during the making of the n.o.r.e. album.
50 cent, Consequence, Punchline, Noreaga and Kid Carpi holding up the wall in the background. 1997... It's almost like this video captures the moment before Hip-Hop sold it's soul.
Funny to see that Fiddy has gotten slimmer while the rest of em have packed on the keys.
Dope cypher, it's great to get a glimpse behind the scenes and to get a sense of the awesome atmosphere and genuine excitement that surround Hip-Hop music at that time.

Flashback Friday
Fila, Nike, Kangol, Gold Ropes, 2 Finger Rings... Rakim's flow was way ahead of it's time.
They don't make em like they used to...
